Miami (JUNE 1st, 2020) — Miami Rush Kendall Soccer club to join Major League Soccer’s Elite Player Development Platform as founding members> Miami Rush Kendall SC and Cutler Ridge Soccer Club today announced that 2006-age-group goalkeeper Dante Lopez will join from affiliate-club Cutler Ridge Soccer.

“Through our club affiliates like Cutler Ridge and our collaboration to create the best pathway for player development, players like Dante have shown what it takes to compete and grow at the highest level possible,” said Rush Kendall technical Director Renatto Soriano. 

Lopez is joining a special team and competitive format that focuses on maximizing each player’s potential. The new development platform will not only provide high-level, year-round competition for players like Lopez, but will provide important programming, education and innovation in key areas of player development.

“Cutler Ridge Soccer Club is proud to announce the transition of Dante Lopez to Miami Rush Kendall FC,” said Cutler Ridge Director of coaching Graeme Griffith. “Dante improved greatly with Cutler Ridge at the U14 level with coach Jose Molina and goalkeeper coach Anthony Stewart. We wish Dante all the best in the future and hope that he is the first of many Cutler Ridge players to take advantage of the relationship between our two clubs.”
