If you are a competitive and/or elite player (boys) born in the year 2010, 2009, & 2008 and you think you want to join Kendall SC’s U12 and U13 DA program, register for the DA ID camp. The ID Camp will be held on Wednesday March 18th at Millers Pond Park located at 13350 SW 47 Street. It is mandatory to register online for the ID Camp at www.miamirushsoccer.com. Current players can use their existing accounts. New players will need to create an account. Unregistered players will not be allowed to participate. Once registered, you will receive an email with instructions. If you are selected by the DA Technical Staff, you will be invited to the DA tryouts held at the end of May. Identified players will be contacted by Monday, March 23rd.
The U.S Soccer Development Academy is a program instituted by the U.S. Soccer federation in 2007 to provide education, resources and support to impact club environments that will develop world-class players. The Development Academy program’s philosophy is based on increased training, less total games, and more meaningful games using international rules of competition. The DA program also serves as a key source for identifying for participation in the US youth national teams. Kendall SC is the only soccer club in Miami that has been granted membership in the Development Academy and only one of eight clubs in all of Florida that have full membership across every participating age group.
